About Wax Visual Stock Photography

Established in 2001, Wax Visual Stock Photography is the realisation of travel photographers, web developers and far-flung adventure enthusiasts Tom Compagnoni and Ishbel Weatherhead.

After three years of extensive travels across the vast stretch of fascinating regions between Tom's home in Australia and Ishbel's native Scotland, the pair returned to Sydney to set up Wax Visual Stock Photography, an on-line stock photography resource dedicated to the cultural, artistic and geographic diversity of The Middle and Far East.

The Wax Visual website showcases their documentation of the people and places their travels brought them to throughout India, Nepal, Egypt, Jordan, Israel, Syria, Turkey, Greece and Scotland.

Tom and iSh are presently on another long-haul overland trip between their homelands. Their itinerary will take them through Indonesia, Malaysia, Thailand, Cambodia, Vietnam, Laos, China, Tibet, Nepal, India, Sri Lanka, Pakistan, Iran, Turkey, Greece, Italy, Switzerland and France before ending up in the Western Isles of Scotland.
